A few days later, Cole was again waiting beside his car for Tarsha. This time, it was because she had agreed to let him transport her safely to her appointment with the doctor. She had, at first, insisted that he did not need to go for the routine appointment, but he had known better. If the baby was truly his, which he knew in his heart was true; she was going to get some unsettling news from the doctor.
