Chapter 19 I must have really been channeling something of Thorbjorn, because I didn't open the front door so much as kick it in. It smashed loudly against the wall. Good thing I wasn't trying to be sneaky. I quickly scanned the great room of the cabin, from the massive fireplace against the south wall to the kitchen tucked under the loft on the north side. There was no sign of my grandmother. But there were two mugs sitting on the kitchen table. The chairs were pulled back as if someone had just gotten up and walked away. Only no one was there.
