I wanted to talk to Neil Nilssen and Mandy Carlsen from the night before, but I didn't know where exactly they lived. I could probably find out pretty easily, though. I just needed to call Michelle. Her mother knew everyone in town and was handy with drawing maps to the more out of the way places.
But I didn't think they were suspects, and their usefulness as witnesses really would mean having very specific questions to ask them. No, what I needed first was a picture of who Dofri had been and what he had been up to.
