*Beau’s POV*
That little b*tch is smart! How did she turn the tables on me and catch me in the lie? I can’t f*cking believe this!
I stomped back to my office. Once inside, I yelled for Kai to come in. I needed an update on Lombardi.
“Yes, Capo.” Kai said.
“What is the f*cking update on Lombardi?” I asked him.
“The only move he had made was going to a warehouse to meet with Levi and his consigliere Aiden.” Kai replied.
“Get me on the line with Levi. I want an update on when the f*cker will make his new move.” I told Kai. He picked up his cell and called Levi.
I walked to my bar and poured myself a glass of scotch.
“Capo, he doesn’t answer. I have tried him three times.” Kai said, making my blood boil.
I threw the glass I had in my hand against the wall.
“Call him again!”
