*Aria’s POV*
Once we got back to the estate, Aiden placed Layla’s unconscious body on the table and the doctor began working on her. He removed her bulletproof vest, and the wound instantly became visible. Her injury was on her right shoulder, but she was still unconscious.
I am somewhat behind Mateo and Aiden, letting them see her first. Once the doctor let us know that Layla was still unconscious because of shock and blood loss, we all released the breath we were holding and relaxed a bit. Of course, until Mateo turned around and looked at me.
