SHE PAID FOR MY DEED

Percy’s P.O.V.

I and Elena were in the canteen when I saw Shanaya storming towards Elena. I got alerted when I saw a thick stick in her hands. She was fuming in rage and her face was totally dark due to anger.

“You f**king b***h”, Shanaya yelled at Elena. Before any of us could understand a thing, she hit on Elena’s head with a stick so hard that Elena instantly fell down on the floor while screaming hard.

“Eli”, I screamed in panic and ran towards her but Staffy and other girls held me from my shoulders. Elena was raging in anger and was hitting injured Elena continuously.

“You s**t…. how dare you hit on my boyfriend?” Shanaya was screaming with every hit. Some students ran towards Shanaya and tried to stop her. She hit them too. She was looking like a man woman.

“Shanaya….. leave her”, I screamed again struggling hard to get off the grip from those bloody idiots. I bit Staffy’s shoulder so that her grip on me could be on loose.

“AAahhhhh…. You b***h”, Staffy screamed and left me. I immediately hit the other girl on her knee and she also left me while holding her knees. She was crying bitterly due to pain.

I ran towards Shanaya who was still hitting unconscious Elena. Elena’s face was totally covered in the blood now.

I pushed Shanaya so hard that she stumbled on her steps. At the same time, some students held her back by holding her from her shoulders and waist. One of them snatched the stick from her hands. She was also screaming at them to leave her.

“Somebody …. Please help me”, I shouted as I was not able to move her. She was not heavy but I was trembling so hard that I was not able to control even my own body.

Some students came near to us and one of them immediately tied her head from his shirt.

“What the hell is going on here?” I heard a teacher shouting. “That b***h…. she is trying to seduce my boyfriend. She deserves to die”, Shanaya screamed in her shrilled voice.

“Ms Shanaya Brooks….. you should be ready for the consequences of your actions”, The teacher roared at her. “I will not let her live”, Shanaya screamed again on the teacher.

I was crying hard. “Take her to the hospital…. Now”, the teacher instructed the student that was carrying Elena in bridal style. I was holding her head in my shivering hands.

We were about to cross the corridor of the cafeteria when Damon King came near to us suddenly. He startled after seeing Elena covering in her own blood. I was crying mess right now.

“What the hell with her?” he roared at once startling everyone and immediately pulled Elena in his embrace.

“It’s all because of you, King. Your girlfriend did this…. Just leave her f***ing alone”, I tried to snatch Elena from his embrace but he shot daggers on me and I cowered a little.

“Damon”, we all heard Shanaya screaming his name and I saw her coming towards him.

“You….. go and bring your car at the entrance”, King commanded me and I ran towards the parking lot.

“I am not your f***ing boyfriend you b***h”, I just heard Damon screaming on Shanaya but didn’t budge to look back. My only aim right now was to bring my car to the entrance of the school.

I heard footsteps behind me and I knew that Damon was just a little behind me. Shanaya was screaming and shouting. I knew that she was running behind Damon. “I should listen to Mike and strangled her in the morning”, I heard her shouting Mike’s name. My whole body was on fire right now. What the hell Mike did here? I knew that he liked to mess with Elena but he hated her so much that he tried to finish her with Shanaya?

I looked at the sky with teary eyes. I wanted to curse every one right now but didn’t have time to do this. I had to save my friend.

I immediately threw my bag on the passenger seat and sat down on the driver seat. My hands were trembling hard but I managed to start the car. There was nothing important than Elena’s life this time.

I reached the gate and saw the path inside the gate from where Damon had to come out. I saw Mike standing with Elena’s body in his hand. I clenched my fist at the wheel while shooting daggers on him. I didn’t know what he did before but knew one thing that he was the reason that Shanaya almost killed Elena.

He said something to Damon who was kicking Shanaya mercilessly. I didn’t feel pity for that w***e.  Damon immediately stormed towards Mike and snatched Elena’s body from his embrace. Tears were rolling down from my eyes as I saw Elena’s body swinging between them like a rag doll.

“F**k”, I cursed on the pity state of my friend. She needed medical attention immediately. I came out of the car and quickly opened the back seat door. Damon put down Elena gently on the back seat and then hopped in.

I immediately turned and was about to sit in the driver’s seat when someone stopped me. I saw Stefan standing beside me with a tensed expression.

“I will drive”, he said to me and I nodded. I immediately ran towards the passenger’s seat and hopped in immediately. I saw a teacher also coming towards us. He also entered the car and then Stefan drove the car towards the hospital.

“Ms Roberts… can you tell me, what happened there?” The teacher Mr Philip Peter asked me in a gentle way.

I was crying bitterly. I looked at Stefan and Damon and both nodded. “I…. we…. Are …. We are taking our lunch in the cafeteria when suddenly Shanaya entered the room with …. With that stick in her hand and hit Elena hard from behind. She was yelling…. Screaming at Elena but I didn’t know…. Why …. Why did she hit her”, I told him truthfully.

“Shanaya also cornered Elena before the second period today near the locker. I saw her threatening Elena to stay away from Damon as Elena has no rights to be with a man in her life because her father abandoned her”, Stefan words made me snapped my head towards him in shock.

“What the hell are you talking about?” I yelled on him and immediately Mr Peter scolding me for bad-mouthing, “Ms Roberts… manners”.

“I am sorry, Sir…. But… did you listen to the nonsense that he told us?” I looked at him in disbelief and frustration.

“Whatever Ms Brooks said about Ms Petkinson is really shameful. The School Authority should take the action against her behaviour. This kind of violence will not be tolerated inside the school premises”, Mr Peters said in a stern voice.

I scoffed and then looked away. She belonged to an influential family. There was no way that they would something against her. Before he could say anything, Stefan announced, “We are here”.

I looked back at Damon and to my surprise, I saw a tear in his eyes. I must be hallucinating now. Otherwise, Damon King would shred tear for Elena???? No way..

We immediately came down from the car and I ran to get someone from the hospital staff.

“Please help… the girl is injured badly”, I shouted at the door of ER and the security guard immediately alerted the medical team.

I looked back and saw Damon running towards the door having Elena in his embrace.

“O My God….. Eli”, I heard a female scream and immediately moved back in the direction of the voice. I broke down when I saw Ms Petkinson running like a madwoman towards Elena.

"Wh... what happened to her. Percy... what happened to her?" she screamed in horror and I sobbed. The Medical team immediately came into action and lay down Elena on a bed. They immediately pulled her into the OR leaving every one of us outside. Ms Petkinson also went inside with Elena.

Stefan came to me and I immediately hid my face in his chest. I was crying bitterly.

"Ssshhh.... everything will be okay... she will be alright", Stefan stroked my hair while consoling me.

"She paid for my deed. I put her in danger", I heard Damon muttering something under his breath.
