I argue with Evan outside her room. He goes off to fill her prescriptions and I stand there feeling like utter s**t. I broke her f*****g jaw.
I could hear soft sobs coming from her room and that only deepens my guilt. I stand watching her rub at her sore jaw gently. Tears run as she whimpers louder in pain. I hate myself right now.
Evan came back an hour later and gets her to take her pills. She nods her thanks before laying back down with a new ice pack. She drifts off twenty minutes later and we leave.
"I understand she was talking back at the hospital Chase but you breaking her jaw took her punishment way to far. She fears us again thanks to you",Evan says walking off to take care of Jacob. I sigh and head back to watch Amy.
Her jaw is bruised but the swelling went down drastically.
