Caroline's POV
I saw Liam and Lauwren sitting alone in a corner. Lawuren had a conflicted look, and it seemed like Liam was trying to console her.
Jackson had already gone into the building while I was still outside. I didn't know what might be wrong with Lawuren, but I think she needs help. I walked to them and cleared my throat. They flinched as if they'd just heard the attack of an enemy. But when they saw me, their bodies calmed, and they inhaled loudly.
"What happened? Where are you running to?" I teased, and they both laughed, but I could see the sadness behind Lawuren's face. She wasn't happy; something was bothering her, and I wondered what that could be.
