Breakfast passed in a blur, and once they finished, the King extended an invitation to his private study, where they were greeted by both him and the Queen.
Seated in the study, the King's gaze fell upon Elena, his expression a mixture of curiosity and concern. "Elena," he began, his voice measured, "can you shed some light on what has transpired?
