Nandini was sitting on the bed of the lavish room of the Manik Malhotra. She was looking at all over the room. It was so lavish. So luxuriously decorated. Never in her dreams had she seen this type of room. It was something beyond luxury. The walls were decorated with intense art and their pictures were hung on the walls. Just the portion above their bed was vacant for their wedding picture to arrive. Her eyes got wet. It was very hard to digest that a simple girl like her was married to Asia's richest man. She was scared too deep down. She never interacted to Manik during the lavish wedding functions owing to her shyness. The gate unlocked and her heart started beating fast. What if he asks for that. She have to give in, afterall it was her husband. Bit she didn't want it too fast. She wanted to love him, trust him, but. Was she caged ? Maybe, only his attitude towards her will answer this question. He sat beside him. He was handsome. Very handsome. He looked at Nandini who was crying silently. He lifted her veil to get gifted by a crying face and not a blushy smile. He grew worried. He cupped her cheeks and asked "Hey? What happened?" She was still sobbing. "What happened? Tell me? Please!?" He wiped her tears while she looked at him. His eyes spitted care. Maybe he was good? "Missing your family?" He asked to which she nodded. He smiled and asked her to come closer. He patted her head as she kept it on his chest, clutching his sherwani. "Sh..No crying.. I will take you to them tomorrow..And that's a promise.. No crying" Her heart started beating wildly. He promised. Yes he did. Maybe he cared for her! "Why did you marry me? I am a simple girl.." She said wanting her answer. She wasn't sad that this wedding happened. How can one be getting someone like Manik? "Why? Did you not approve for the wedding?" He asked. He did care for her. "No, it's Nothing like that nit I am just a simple middle..." She was shushed by his words "I have no answer but my heart just fell for you" making her shock "I like you" He said making her blush. She was so happy. She thought this was just a compromise but no, it was somewhat like a love marriage to him. "I want you to think" He said taking her hands. "I am sorry..I need some.. Ti...time" She said stammeringly. He smiled and caressed her hairs "Don't be afraid..Take as much time as you want you.." He kissed her forehead which evoked thousand feelings amidst her. "You sleep here..I will adjust myself on the couch" He said while she made a face. It was his room. His bed. "No its fine..We can take sides" She smiled at him which made him fall for her once again. "Okay" And they both lied on the bed hoping forna beautiful morning and life ahead.
