The weather finally dipped back into the mid-80s for a few days, bringing with it a few brief evening thunderstorms, and Carlo was able to work outside during the day again. However, this meant Wes was rarely online at the same time as he was, and even then he was hesitant about saying anything. When Saturday morning arrived, Wes felt a physical weight in his chest that he knew he had to unload sooner or later.
