It's been two days since the incident. Two days of the authorities pretty much closing off every path through the forests in town. The fact that there's some deranged creature out there frightens me, makes me want to stay far from the wooded areas of town and let the summer be. Rolling onto my side, a smile lightly spreads across my face. "Hey," Charlie whispers, his voice scratchy as he pulls my duvet closer around his body. "You okay?" Nodding my head, I prop myself onto my elbows, leaning over Charlie as I offer him a soft peck. "I'm good." The only injuries Charlie walked away with happened to be nothing more but a nasty gash upon his left leg that is wrapped up still, the doctors putting thirty stitches in. The wolf got him. All because I was dumb. "I should be asking you that,"
