Chapter# She is alive

It's been a while since, I came back to this place and everything is change like me, sadness overcome this place. The smell of dead flowers was in the air, as I taking a step forward, it's getting hard to breath. I gasp for air to reach my lungs, maybe I wasn't ready for this yet to face Lara's killers or maybe I was afraid of myself.

I stop on the midway and gazing out the long hallways, the sirens of police car and ambulance echoing in my ear , making me impossible to breath.

" YOU ARE WEAK JAMES YOU CAN'T SAVE ME! YOU LEFT ME DYING THERE YOU ARE COWARD JAMES! her words were piercing in to my ears, sweat start dripping from my forehead. I gaze down at my hands and it was covered in blood. . . Lara's blood, my loves blood. I killed her , I killed her, I killed her with these hands .

" James! you come back ! I heard a familiar voice. When I gazed up I saw Natalie was coming towards me. She threw her arms around me and hugged me tight .

" O James, I know you will come. I know you care for me you can't leave me alone." she said and I pushed her away from me .

" Where is everyone? I ask her .

" James , are you drunk ?

" It's none of your business Natalie ! Who are you to asking me about that? I raised my voice at her.

" YOU DON'T KNOW WHO AM I? I AM YOUR . . . I stopped her in the mid way of her sentence .

" ENOUGH ! YOUR ARE NOTHING FOR ME EXCEPT FROM A WEIGHT WHICH MY OWN MOTHER PUT ON MY SHOULDER. " I yelled at her and Andrew, Mom and my sister in law came out of the dining room. Tearing start rolling down on Natalie face .

" James, what are you doing? why are you yelling? Andrew said

" Welcome, My dearest family, I have been missing you . . . I shift my gaze from Andrew to Mom . . . My dear mother are you happy to see me like that . Oh no, obviously you are happy how could you be not happy after destroying my life." I said.

" James! enough you are talking to Mom ."

Mom moves forward with pleading eyes but I stop her for coming near me,

" James! my son . . .

" Don't you ever call me son! you killed your son the day you forced me to leave Lara and marry with Natalie. I hate you, I hate every single one of you who takes my love away from me . " I chocked on my tear and taking my step backwards because I can't look there faces, It's just unbearable. This pain is just killing me. I wheeled around and ran towards the door.

My mom calling my name from me but I didn't to hear them or see them again. I get myself out of the mansion and unlock the car . I open the car door and jumped on the drivers seat and start the car I gaze up and saw Andrew was running towards my car to stop me but before he could do that. I reverse the car and drove the car out of the main gate.

I push that pedal to the floor and get sucked into my seat. Shift into 2nd. The car jolts forward. 7000RPM, shift into 3rd. I feel the warm summer air blowing through my hair already. Merge onto the open road. Everything I pass by is a blur. The dotted line on the road turns solid. I hear the engine screaming, it's time for 6th gear. I hesitate. Are you sure you want to do this? I heard a voice in my ears and it was her. I immediately pulled the breaks and the car do 360 degree donut.

I realiase a breath out and rest my forehead on the wheel but still holding it tight.

My phone start vibrating into my pants pocket. I took out the phone from the pocket and glance on the screen Chris was calling me. I place the phone on the dashboard because I doesn't want to talk anyone right now. Chris can't stop calling me I picked up the phone in frustration.

" What? Chris I can't talk now bye " as I was about to hung up the call.

" WAIT! DON'T HUNG UP THE CALL AND JUST LISTEN TO ME I NEED TO TALK YOU AND IT'S VERY IMPORTANT ."

" What ?

" I just send you something, just see that and I am on hold. "

" Okay."- I said and withdrew the phone from my ear and saw a chat notification of Chris and as I open the chat and a image shower up on the screen of Chris and her girlfriend.

" It's you and Katherine and what is wrong with it . " I put the call on speaker.

" James ! just zoom the image background . "

" Why ? I said and as I zoom the image background and focus my eyes on the image . My brain stutters for a moment and my eyes take in more light than I expected, every part of me goes on pause while my thoughts catch up .

The phone fell from my hands and the only thing that leaves my mouth.

" LARA IS ALIVE!
