The car ride was mostly silent, but I can't say I was surprised. With every bump and pothole in the road, Erik grunted in pain. Nervously, I kept stealing glances at Erik. You see, I invited Erik out to lunch, but we were making a quick stop on the way there, I just hadn't told him about the stop. "Why do you keep looking at me like that?"
