I couldn’t sleep. I kept tossing and turning for what felt like hours. Maybe it had been hours, I don’t know because I wouldn’t let myself look at the clock. It would just stress me out even more and I still wouldn’t be able to fall asleep. I sat up in bed, throwing the covers off of me while groaning in annoyance when I heard a soft tap tap coming from the window. I walked over to it to peek outside. A dark shadow appeared from behind the tree. At first, I went into panic mode, but a couple of deep breaths held down the anxiety. I squinted my eyes noticing the all too familiar jet-black hair.  I opened the window to stick my head out. Vince walked closer, a big toothy grin on his face.  “What are you doing?” I asked with a smile.  “You think you can sneak out for a bit?” I laughed.
