It was low voices that suddenly woke me. I had planned to stay awake until I saw my sister fall asleep, but now it was me who had dozed off. Slowly, I blinked my eyes open as I heard a door close. There was only one small lamp turned on in the room, illuminating the queen herself, who was sitting beside it.
