ChapChapter 14: Nightmare
“No, please, spare my child!” a woman’s voice is heard in the distance, yet it’s dark and otherwise quiet. Her words resounding painfully within Bella’s ears.
“I don’t want to remember this!” Bella protested but her mind was working on it’s own to re-create the events of the past. Events she did not wish to ever think about.
The woman with her crying child was the last one to go while everyone else in the room where already shot down. It was a distressing scene for everyone outside.
The reason why Bella couldn’t remember the expressions or movements of the people inside was simply because she wasn’t there. Bella was standing outside listening to the people’s cries for help and trying to reason with the criminal but to no avail.
