She must be afraid

Felix got out of the carriage and stretched his hand to escort Ruhi out of it. She stopped and looked at his hand. Taking his hand without much delay she got out, looking at the castle. She sure has seen luxurious manors but damn this castle is of another league. While Ruhi was looking at the castle and analysis the environment, Felix looked at their connected hands. Her hands were smaller than him and fit right in, they were soft and very warm.

His attention was on the feeling when Ruhi suddenly took away her hand looking at the butlers and maids welcoming their lore. Felix shook his head and nodded at them while walking inside, Ruhi followed him behind. Sylvia walked behind them looking at Ruhi with narrowed eyes, she does not understand how could a little girl could survive Archduke’s bloodthirst. Knights were dismissed whereas the bandits were thrown in jails before a trail was to take place in a week.

Felix entered his office where Valentine Greens, his right-hand man standing with a smile welcoming his Lord. Felix nodded at Valentine and sat down on his chair. Valentine frowned at this action but froze when he saw Ruhi entering inside the office. She nodded at him before she passed him and sat in front of Felix. Valentine looked at Sylvia with questioning look to which she shrugged. Valentine and Sylvia stood beside Felix; Valentine stood at his right while Sylvia stood at his left.

“Your stay will be made comfortable here, you can ask and buy anything you want. You can stay as long as you want; take this as my thanks for saving my life.”; He said as he ringed a bell and called the head butler. Ruhi looked at the aged man with grey hair and wrinkled face. His silver eyes had experience in them.

“Severus, Miss Ruhi is my guest or honour. Make her comfortable”; Felix said in a commanding tone while Ruhi just listened. She knew that she was not to speak right now.

“Of course, sir”; The butler bowed to Felix and turned towards Ruhi.

“Please follow me, Milady”; The butler asked as Ruhi got up and followed him out. She did not look back at Felix even once and walked out of the room.

Felix kept his eyes on her till she disappeared, he sighed and stretched himself lazily. Valentine and Sylvia looked at each other in confusion not knowing what is happening.

“My, Lord if you don’t mind me asking but who is she?”; Valentine questioned Felix, his golden eyes held curiosity and hope. Maybe Miss Ruhi is the one who will become Archduchess. His Lord has never shown interest in any lady yet he could keep his eyes off from Miss Ruhi. Maybe just maybe his Lord found someone he could love because God knows he deserve to be happy.

“Her name in Ruhi, she did not give me her family name. She is here as the guest of honour because she saved my life”; Felix gave him a short and cold explanation; he does not want anyone to misunderstand the circumstances because he very well knows that he will kill her if she proves to be a threat to the kingdom.

“SHE DID!”; Valentine shouted as he looked at Sylvia in question who just nodded. He gasped; he cannot believe that a girl who looked so petite can save a man who is twice her size. He looked towards the door in amazement, maybe days here won’t be that boring anymore.

“I am going to freshen myself up, both of you are dismissed”; Felix said as he got up from his chair making Sylvia and Valentine bow down till, he walked out of the room. Valentine followed Sylvia who took her leave after Felix.

“How did she save Lord?”; Valentine questioned walking beside her, he held excitement in his voice making Sylvia stop and look at him with grim expression. He frowned knowing very well that Sylvia does not seemed to be fond of Miss Ruhi.

“You don’t seem to like her”

“I don’t”; Sylvia answered scoffing

“She saved Lord from an arrow that none of us could sense as we were distracted because of her! She came out of nowhere to our campsite. This seems like a well-planned trap, isn’t it too convincing that a girl out of nowhere comes and saves our lord and make her place in the castle. I am sure she is a spy; I just have to collect proofs and show it to Lord so, he can kill her.”; She said with a dreadful voice. Valentine frowned; he cannot deny that this seems too convenient. He cannot even sense any power coming from her, she seems too weak yet she stopped an arrow; it could be a well-set trap.

He sighed in disappointment, now he knows why his Lord was looking at Miss Ruhi continuously; it was because he is suspicious of her. Yet, she seemed so calm, as if she does not fear anything in her life. He sighed and rubbed his forehead; he could not have been more wrong about Miss Ruhi being a future Archduchess.

“I will be taking my leave”; She said as Valentine nodded. He too has to go home and rest. He has been doing nonstop paper work because Archduke left to capture bandits. SOMEONE TELL HIS LORD THAT HE IS A KNIGHT!! His Lord took Sylvia with him as his commander and left him here to take care of his fief. He cried imaginary tears as he walked out of the castle.

Felix submerged himself in hot water as maids tended to him. His private parts and middle body were not visible because of the milky water while maids massaged his hands and legs shiveringly. This is the first time Archduke has come home without being covered in blood. They have seen his monstrous side.

Everyone is afraid of him in this house specially maids that tends him because they don’t know when he will kill them. He has killed approximately hundred of maids in his house all of their corpses were beyond recognisable because how badly he beat them up. Woman hesitate to work in Archduke castle but the salary is very good.

“GET OUT”; The four maids tending each of his arm and leg flinched as they ran out of the room without a delay. They don’t want to die at all, they do not know how the head butler Severus survived whole his life.

Felix sighed as he combed his hair back, he could feel their trembling through his skin. It took so much will power as to not shout at them. He closed his eyes as he laid completely down in the water holding his breath. His face was now not seen because of the milky water, his eyes were closed and all he could think was how Ruhi did not shiver at all. Even smelling blood on him, she did not even flinch. It was as if she was not afraid at all; he sat up straight and took a deep breath after wiping the water off his face from his hand. No, she must have been afraid; she is just every good at hiding just like how she is hiding the kingdom from where she came from.

He is sure that she is a spy, he will keep a good eye on her and the day he has even a little proof that she is a spy; he will happily behead her. He does not like how confident she acts; is she trying to impress him by not being the ‘typical’ girl; that is just such a low technique.

He would like a girl who is truthful irrespective if she is afraid of him or not. She has been trying to seduce him, he can tell by the way she wrapped her arms around his neck. And if he is being honest, he was for spilt of moment; when he saw her plump pink lips near his lips, he wanted to taste them; it took will power not to.

*I will find what you are hiding Miss Ruhi and when I do; it will your last say alive here. *; He thought as he got out of his bathtub wearing a bathrobe, he walked out to have some sleep. He did not notice how his mind has been occupied with a single girl for almost a day now.

Ruhi on the other hand was enjoying the luxurious treatment; she could have the same in her world but she does not like people seeing her body while here maids tending their master is a rule. Her private parts and body were submerged in the milky water covered with rose petals while her arms and legs were being massaged, each was taken care by a maid. The fifth made was washing her hair and massaging her scalp; making her close her eyes and relax. She made a mental note to get massages on regular basis when she returns her home.

*gasp*; a maid gasped, Ruhi looked at the maid who was massaging her right arm and shoulder. The maid was looking at Ruhi’s shoulder in horror. She frowned but then smiled when she saw a big cut mark from shoulder that stretched to her back.

“Is there a problem?”; She spoke in a soft tone making the maid flinch but shake her head. Ruhi nodded and closed her eyes again as the maid continued her work. Ruhi remembered one of the five worthy opponent she ever got; a woman who was able to drag her to the death’s door.

Ruhi smiled remembering an epic fight that lasted a year; the woman who gave her the scare was a beauty yet dangerous. She wanted to extract whatever Ruhi had in her that made her powerful. When Ruhi told that it was nothing but training from young age, the woman became furious and used violence as a means to subdue her.

That was one of the best fights she had; she has five big scares on her body each scare represents a worth opponent who was at her level or above her. She sighed as she shook her head, she has to focus on Seven and the worst part is she does not know where to start from. Hopefully she is able to find him before something bad happens.
