Aidan just stood there as he tried to calm his heart that was beating like a drum in his chest. He resisted the urge to cover his heart with his hand that was threatening to jump out of his chest.

Aidan could feel her presence. Closing his eyes Aidan inhaled her scent, his chest expanded with the effort. She carried the scent of early spring in the middle of winter.
“Are you coming out?” Liam asked impatiently, he was standing at the door waiting for Aidan’s reply.
