IMMORTAL: Her Secret

~~Prologue~~

Long ago in the wolf clan, the generations of Willards have always been the head of packs because of their true leadership in the pack thus making them have enemies but yet they rule with love and care for the packs and there was peace in the pack.

The Alpha of the wolf clan, King Efstathios was having meeting with his advisers who are also the Elders of the pack regarding his Beta, Seymour who is trying to go against him and want to take over the Alpha's throne which King Efstathios kept as a secret from his Luna, Queen Albertina

King Efstathios was in the meeting with the Elders of the packs when his head of guards, Shimshon rushed in breathing heavily

"My Lord, The Queen have fallen into labor", Shimshon who was the head of guard of King Efstathios guards said as soon as he rushed in where the king was having meeting as he was breathing heavily

"Since when", King Efstathios asked in a worried tone as he stood up from his throne

"Not quite long My Lord and all preparations have been made but she's requesting for your presence", Shimshon replied to the King

"Okay, as you all have heard what is happening, this meeting will be continue later", King Efstathios said as he rushed out not looking at his chiefs bowing to him

"Where is she", King Efstathios ask as he was walking with Shimshon

"Her Chamber my Lord", Shimshon replied leading King Efstathios to Queen Albertina's Chamber

As they get there, mid wives were coming in and going out of Queen Albertina's Chamber and as soon as they spot the King, they all bow and he entered Queen Albertina's Chamber while Shimshon stand guarded in front of the Chamber

"My Lord", The head mid wife says as she sees the King and bows to him

"How are you doing Albertina?", King Efstathios asked but the Queen couldn't reply as she was in pain "How's she", He ask the head mid wife

"My Lord, I'm afraid the Queen giving birth won't be easy", The head mid wife informed King Efstathios

"And why would it be that way", King Efstathios said worriedly

"The baby in her womb isn't moving and no matter how hard she pushed, I can't see the baby head", The head mid wife replied

"But that shouldn't happen, it is unusual, what's going on", King Efstathios ask

"M...M..My Lord", The mid wife said stammering

"Why are you stammering, if you know something spit it out",King Efstathios said angrily

"I'm afraid the Queen is giving birth to a heiress", The head mid wife said with fear

"What!", King Efstathios exclaimed looking at his wife who was in pain

"And....",The head mid wife added

"And what", King Efstathios shouted angrily

"And she will be the weakest wolf in our clan",The head mid wife told the King

"This shouldn't happen", King Efstathios exclaimed sadly

"I'm sorry my Lord", The head mid wife said bowing down

"Okay, is there any other way she can give birth safely without losing her or the baby", King Efstathios ask

"There is a way my Lord, I just need your permission before I proceed", The head mid wife replied

"My permission?,Just go ahead with it, I want both my wife and baby to be okay with no complications, weak or not, I want both of them safe and sound", King Efstathios said

"Don't worry my Lord, I will do everything in my power", The head mid wife said assuring the King

"And one more thing, what you told me about my child's birth should stay as secret between us, no one should know about it", King Efstathios said sternly looking at the head mid wife

"Yes my Lord", The head mid wife said bowing down and King Efstathios leave the Queen's chamber to stay outside so the head mid wife and her assistance can do their job

Few minutes later, cry of baby could be heard as one of the head mid wife assistance ran outside to inform the King of his new born daughter. King Efstathios was called in after the mother and child have been bathe

"Congratulations my Lord", The head mid wife said smiling

"Thank you", King Efstathios said not looking at her direction as he was staring at his little daughter in the basket where she was laid

"I shall take my leave now", The head mid wife said to the King as she bow

"I hope the secret is safe with you", King Efstathios said looking at the head of mid wife

"Secret shall it be my Lord", The head mid wife said and bowed to the King once again as she leave the Queen's chamber with her assistance

"I'm sorry", Queen Albertina said as she sit up resting her head on her pillow

"Why are you apologizing my Queen", King Efstathios said looking at her

"About our daughter, I don't know how this happen but I'm sorry it did", Queen Albertina said as a tear slipped out of her eyes

"You don't have to be sorry for what can't be control, that's how the gods want it, just let it be", King Efstathios said smiling to Queen Albertina as he assured her

"Okay..., She's beautiful", Queen Albertina said looking at her little daughter in the basket

"Yes she is", King Efstathios said as he picks up the baby from the basket as he couldn't stop smiling

"Have you thought of a name", Queen Albertina asked looking at King Efstathios

"Aphrodite", King Efstathios said smiling

"Aphrodite?", Queen Albertina said

"Yes, The princess of Mystery of Nature", King Efstathios said as he hands over the little baby to Queen Albertina

"Aphrodite shall it be", Queen Albertina said smiling

All the wolf clan was invited to the palace to celebrate King Efstathios and Queen Albertina's new born daughter though many wolves was wondering and gossipping why their child was an heiress, the princess birth was celebrate for days but Princess Aphrodite's birth was kept a secret between the King, Queen, The head of mid wife and Shimshon, The head of guard.

Four years later

After Princess Aphrodite was born, Both the King and Queen discover she was blessed by the gods with the gift of seeing the future despite being the weakest among them

"Aphrodite, where are you", Queen Albertina shouted as she enter her daughter chamber, even though Aphrodite was the weakest wolf in their clan, the young girl who is now four years is always trying to do what her mates who are stronger than she is does "Aphrodite dear", Queen Albertina shouted as she continue calling her daughter

"Mummy", Aphrodite shouted coming out of her big wardrobe

"Aphrodite, what were you doing in your wardrobe", Queen Albertina said taking her daughter's hand

"Mummy, I was hiding, I went to hide when I heard you calling me", Aphrodite says smiling

"Oh silly you, why would you do that and why did you refuse to follow the maid to eat dinner", Queen Albertina ask her little girl who was smiling

"I didn't refuse her, I just said I am not hungry", Aphrodite said as she sit on her bed "I had cookies with father earlier so I'm full"

"Okay, so are you ready to sleep now so I can read your bed time story to you", Queen Albertina ask her

"Not yet mummy, I want to tell you something", Aphrodite said

"What is that my little angel", Queen Albertina said sitting beside her daughter

"When I hide in my wardrobe, I was closing my eyes and I saw something when I close my eyes", Aphrodite said looking at her mother

"What do you see my princess", Queen Albertina said seriously as it is the first time she will tell her something like that ever since she was said to be gifted with seeing the future

"I saw you and father lying down side by side and not moving, I was crying so much and shaking you both but you weren't answering me", Aphrodite said sadly looking at her mother

"Me and your father!", Queen Albertina exclaimed

"Yes and when I touch both of your hands it was cold like my ice cream and then I saw your clothes turning red that's when I open my eyes and came out of my wardrobe", Aphrodite explained further

"Oh dear gods", Queen Albertina exclaimed standing up from her daughter's bed

"Mummy", Aphrodite said watching how her mum was pacing up and down her room

"Aphrodite, we have to inform your father, this is your first vision and you have to...", Queen Albertina begin but was cut short as Shimshon rushed inside Aphrodite's chamber as he was covered in blood with a sword in his hand

"What is going on, why are you covered in blood", Queen Albertina said in fear as she sees Shimshon

"My Queen, we have to leave now, the palace have been in chaos", Shimshon said taking Aphrodite's hand

"What!, Where is Efstathios?", Queen Albertina ask

"I'm sorry my Queen but I failed In protecting the King", Shimshon said kneeling in front of Queen Albertina

"What do you mean", Queen Albertina shouted as her eyes color start changing with tears dropping from them

"My Queen, we have to go now, I have to save you and Aphrodite before they get here", Shimshon said holding Aphrodite who was unaware of what's going on

"Who is leading this war? Who?", Queen Albertina shouted as tears keep coming out of her eyes

"It's Seymour my Queen and we are outnumbered", Shimshon said holding Aphrodite's hand tightly as the girl have start crying after seeing how her mum was crying

"Seymour!", Queen Albertina exclaimed

"We have to go now, I can sense them getting near", Shimshon said pulling Queen Albertina's hand but she refused "My Queen"

"Go without me and take good care of my Aphrodite", Queen Albertina said as she kneel in front of Aphrodite and open her mouth to vomit the royalty pearl in her into Aphrodite's mouth and Aphrodite fainted "Now go", She shouted

"Yes my Queen", Shimshon said carrying Aphrodite and went to the other side of Aphrodite's door, he look back to look at the Queen who was hugging her daughter's pillow as she was crying and he immediately jumped out of the window with Aphrodite in his arms

As Shimshon left, Seymour and his men entered Aphrodite's chamber and find Queen Albertina sitting on the bed crying

"YOU!", Queen Albertina shouted as she stand up "You were Efstathios BETA, how dare you"

"Where is your daughter", Seymour said angrily as he was holding his sword which was dripping with blood

"Are you here for my daughter huh", Queen Albertina shouted as she was turning to her wolf form because ever since Aphrodite's birth, no outsider including Seymour who was the King's adviser could recognize the girl because no one is privilege to see her until she turn six years of age

"Tie her down, do not let her change", Seymour shouted as he sees Queen Albertina changing and his men immediately cast a spell

"NOOOOO", Queen Albertina shouted as the spell hold her from changing and she fall "YOU MONSTER"

"Monster", Seymour said laughing "Where is your daughter"

"You will never find her now and forever, she will be back to avenge the death of me and her father", Queen Albertina shouted

"What", Seymour exclaimed

"I curse you Seymour, I....", Queen Albertina shouted but was cut short as Seymour behead her

"I will find her and destroy the last of Willard", He shouted as he transform to his wolf form as his men bowed to him, shouting and calling him King Seymour.

After Shimshon took Aphrodite away and the little girl is just yet to wake up, he sedate her so the girl could sleep more and he uses his power to erase every last memories of being royalty from Aphrodite's memory and also erase the scent of royalty blood from her so no one could recognize her through her royal blood scent, then he took her home to be his daughter and his wife Aleit wholeheartedly accept her since they weren't blessed with any child yet and she lives as Shimshon and Aleit's daughter.
