My head was pounding and every breath I took felt like sharp razors were being dragged across my ribs. The sneezing and coughing weren’t making it any better. I woke up in a baggy black shirt I don’t remember changing into and Liam and Mia in my bed on either side of me. I don’t really remember how we got back but since Liam woke up all he’s done is complain that he had to go back to get his car. Gervis had come in to bring them painkillers and water. “Gervis,” Liam’s raspy voice was muffled by the pillow covering his head. “Yes Sir” “Did you come to get us last night?” “No sir,” a hint of amusement. “Damn. I still have to get my car,” he whined rolling around in my bed. “Stoooop,” Mia rolled over so her head was resting on my lap. I smiled at both of them acting like children.
