Just when I thought I was going to have to face all the men in the room. Leo’s hand rested on his knee. His palm face up.
“Theo will have a lot more to answer to then just me,” Leo said.
He tapped his hand on his knee. I wasn’t sure what he wanted. I placed my hand in his and he gently grasped it, rubbing his thumb over my knuckles.
“Do you agree?” I heard Marcos ask.
“I don’t think any of us would let this go if she did. That girl, despite her parents, is a kind and loving person. She wants nothing but the best for everyone around her. Even you and Ivy”
My heart sank and when I tried to pull my hand back Leo tightened his grip.
