After the lawyer left Dorian showed me around the mansion like he promised. We signed the deal in his study. Although he said it wouldn’t be necessary, I insisted the procedure shall not be skipped. Then we discussed the organisation of the party. Dorian suggested the party held on July 24 so that we could celebrate two things one time.
“What are the two things?”I asked in confusion.
“Your birthday and your freedom.”Dorian replied amusingly. “I am so thrilled at the thought of separating you from Hans Snow.”
