“Are you okay?”I ask as I send Dorian a concerned look.
He looks perfectly fine and in theory Hans looks more pale and frustrated than Dorian. However, somehow I have a gut feeling that Dorian is upset.
“I will be fine as long as you’re here with me,”He replies with a solemn face.
“You make it sound as if you’re the one who is gonna faint.”I taunt him and eventually make the knit between his eyebrows disappear and a smile returns to his face.
He gives my hand a gentle squeeze, then he turns to Hans and says politely, “Deputy Alpha Hans, thank you for attending the party and I hope you enjoy the evening. Now if you would excuse us, Rose and I need to greet other guests. The ball is soon to begin and you’re welcome to join us.”
