I watch as Leah and Carson enter the bar without Cara. I think back to our text’s. She did say she wasn’t going to be able to make it but I was hoping she would change her mind.
I couldn’t help but smile still. Cara was strong, independent, smart and she was going to be a challenge to get to know. If she didn’t want to date me, I could understand, but I really did want to get to know her.
Many think humans are weak and would make them weak in turn or vulnerable. My amazing mate, goddess bless her, showed me how wrong this was and now Cara is once again proving it.
I wonder if it is just my advances because I’m Lycan or whether it would be any man.
