In the middle of our 105’th game of cards, which was now something else that I can’t remember the name of, there were taps on the door. Actually, there were two taps, two knocks and then one more tap on the door before Jenny, Emily’s Gamma, opened it to Matteo.
She had told Emily earlier it was the procedure for the knocks as well as mind-link in case they were being threatened to open the door.
Matteo strode in, in only shorts and a t-shirt and engulfed Emily in a massive hug. You could see him relax knowing she was safe.
We left them there to talk and have some time as the other guards took us back to our rooms. We gave Emily a little squeeze on her arm or shoulder as we passed for support before we left.
Seth and Carson didn’t come with Matteo and I wasn’t surprised. I bet everyone
