‘’My lord!’’ I heard her maid shocked to see me standing in front of her chamber. I gestured for her to not announce my arrival and ordered her to leave us alone. She looked at me shocked at first but my one glare was enough to make her understand I was not here to play some type of game with her.
I opened the door of her room carefully not wanting to frighten or disturb her. it was silence inside as well. I saw the curtains of her room closed and only little light passing through. I entered inside closing the door behind me. I stepped toward her bed silently and saw her tiny frame hugging her pillow as if her life depended on it. I sat beside her carefully not to wake her up.
