AUTHORS POV:
Raya knew very well that the best thing she can do is to listen to him nicely as this time she will not be the only one who is going to suffer loss at the end very badly. add best thing she can do is to listen to him for now and find a chance to escape later then he will get busy in hunting according to her thoughts. But he was having some other type of thoughts. which were only surrounding her and how to keep her with himself peacefully not ending up we then bitter end once again with her.
As he knew very well at every time, he tries to become a good person he ends up becoming a worst person in the world for her. because for others he didn't really care but people used to think about him. as long as he can succeed in everything, he didn't paid attention to his surroundings
