Miya POV The rest of the week passed peaceably. Riever and I watched a movie together on a laptop in my room Wednesday night- which really meant we made out for roughly two hours before he got sent home. My heat had subsided, but my physical longing for him didn't, and though I would have liked to go further, I didn’t want to tempt Riever any more than necessary. Besides, after our first fight- if you could call it that- just cuddling and kissing was nice. The first football game of the season was that Friday, and an away game. I had promised Riever I would go, so I arranged to have a ride with Harper and her friends. They’d been strangely quiet about my two days of absence, and I concluded that Riever had covered for me. I was so happy to be over it, that I let it go too. I dressed
