Chapter 1 - Not, so happy of a day.

1041 Words
Alice I checked myself in the mirror to fix the last few imperfections to my look for today. I was excited beyond belief, since today has officially been three years since my mate Tristan and I had been together. We had plans to go dining out of town at some fancy restaurant called “Le Cordon d’Or” and to say I was excited would have been an understatement. I was simply ecstatic. I walked towards the living room, and I saw my mate sitting with my sister watching a movie, when I decided to join them. “Hello babe, where have you been all morning?” He inquired, and I found myself smiling. “I was getting ready for our anniversary dinner, what are you two up to?” I asked, and he shifted a bit, before facing me. “Oh, we were just watching a movie! Shall we go then?” He asked, to which I nodded, watching as my sister seemed to be angry. “Hey sis, what’s wrong?” I inquired, wondering what bugged her so much. “Oh! Well, it’s nothing, don’t worry about it, have fun you two.” She stated, and I took that as her not wanting to talk any further, so we headed out to the car. Tristan opened the door for me, and I climbed in. That is when he suddenly spoke up. “Hey, I think I forgot my wallet; I’ll be right back.” He stated, before giving me a peck on the lips, and closing the car door. I found myself blushing, I really did have the perfect mate. He came back almost 5 minutes later, and he had a massive grin on his face. He was probably just as excited about this dinner as me. He opened the car door on his side, before sliding into his seat, and starting the car. We both smiled at each other, and I put my safety belt on, before he pulled out of the driveway. “I have been dying to go to this restaurant since it opened up a few weeks ago, and now we can finally enjoy our anniversary. I am so happy to have you as my mate.” Tristan spoke up, and I could feel the butterflies pooling in my stomach. “I know what you mean. This is so exciting; I hope they have the window seat available. You know the one on the top floor?” I stated, and his grin grew wider. “That is the seat I booked. I’m happy we had the same idea.” He said, and I found myself smiling once again, this night was going to be amazing. We finally arrived at the restaurant, and he pulled into the parking space, before he shut off the car and opened his side of the car. I was about to open my side when he stopped me. “I know you’re eager, but at least let me open your door for you.” He stated, and I felt a blush creeping up my cheeks, replacing them with a reddish hue. He walked around the car, reaching my side of it, and opened the door. “Shall we?” He asked, and I nodded, taking his hand in mine, as we approached the fine dining restaurant. We walked up to the receptionist and gave her our reservation card. She scanned it thoroughly, looking at the both of us, before putting it away, and ushering a waiter closer to show us to our seats. We finally sat down, and she gave us our menus before leaving us to decide on what we were going to have whilst she went to get our drinks and complimentary breadsticks. She eventually returned when we were ready to order, and she told us our food would be with us shortly. I looked over towards Tristan, and noticed he was texting on his phone, which peaked my curiosity. “Who are you talking to at this time of night?” I inquired, when he looked up, and gave me a wolfy grin. “Oh, just some work I had to do, we are close to closing a deal, so sorry about that babe.” He answered, his smile never leaving his face, and I felt content. “Oh! I am so happy for you, my love. I could not be prouder of you.” I stated, to which his smile softened. We sat and waited a bit, when our food finally arrived, and I had to say, the food looked amazing, not a hint of imperfection. We ate in peace and quiet, making small talk here and there, before the end of the night drew closer. We had a couple of alcoholic drinks as well, and I felt a little tipsy. We drove home after leaving the restaurant, making small talk to keep ourselves busy, and I knew we were a match made in heaven. We arrived home shortly after the drive, and headed up to our room, to go take a shower, and get ready for bed, and after this amazing night, I didn’t want it to end, but as they say, all good things have to come to an end. We finished our showers, and got comfy, before finally climbing into the bed. As we climbed into bed, I found myself happy with how my life was currently going, and I fell asleep with a grin plastered on my face, and eventually sleep overtook my senses. I WOKE UP some time during the night, feeling thirsty, so I found myself walking down the steps towards the kitchen to get myself a glass of water, when I heard someone else’s door opening. Curiosity got the better of me, and I slowly headed up the stairs, the steps creaking softly below my feet. I eventually made my way to the door, and it was open the slightest bit. I could here moaning coming from behind the door, to my sister’s room, and I could sense that something was off. I opened the door the slightest bit more, just to see if everything was okay, and that is when I saw it… My mate… Was f@cking my sister…!
