Bella’s P.O.V
I walked to the restaurant where Jacob was now and stepped inside. I spotted Jacob at a table and joined him.
“Hey,” I said.
“Hi, did you enjoy the town?” Jacob asked.
“Yeah, I stopped at some places.”
“What place?”
“A small jeweler’s market.”
“Is it the Little Seas’ shop?”
“Yeah, how did you know?”
“Lucky guess, and it was the closest place I came up with.”
“Oh.”
“Did you buy anything?”
“No, but I found something I like.”
“What did you like?”
“It was a charm for the charm bracelet you gave me.”
“What charm did you like?”
“You ask way too many questions.”
“Sorry. I want to know what you like.”
“It’s okay.”
“Will you inform me or leave it as a surprise?”
“I want it to be a surprise.”
“Oh, so when are you getting it?”
“Maybe tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow. Why don’t you get it today?”
“Because I don’t have any money, and I have money at home.”
“Oh.”
The server handed Jacob his check and asked me, “Need anything?”
With a gaze, Jacob pondered my forthcoming words.
“No. No, thanks.” I responded.
“Okay,” the server said, walking off.
“Good save,” Jacob said.
“Thanks. I guess.” I said.
After five minutes, Jacob signed his bill, and we left the restaurant.
"It's late. Let's head back to Emily and Sam's," Jacob suggested.
"Yeah, I should head home soon," I mentioned.
Jacob nodded, and we reached his motorcycle and returned to Emily and Sam’s house.
