I can't understand why I'm panicking. If everything goes to plan we can be in and out. I can say I'm okay and know that they are okay. So when the door opens and my mom is standing there I all but die.
"Mom." I whisper. She stares at me for a minute, as if not knowing whether it was me or not. "Mom?" This time it was a question and was choked with tears. Immediately my mom goes into mother mode.
