Chapter 17 LUKE’S NIECE WAS SAFE. Backup would reach my mate shortly. Which meant, my job had narrowed to.... I spun to face Timothy, hoping he’d be thrown off his game by the flood of opponents. Maybe now I could snatch the woelfin pelt out of his hand. But Destiny’s ex wasn’t where I’d left him. Instead, the roar of a diesel pickup tore down the driveway, backwards to make retreat easier.
