I wake to the door opening. I roll off the bed quickly, and stand in the dark corner. I pull my wolf forward, see the silhouette of a man, and then the light flicks on blinding me momentarily.
“It’s just me Ace.” Felix says quietly, and I run to hug him, but stop right before I reach him. He has every right to be upset with me, so I should give him some space. “I’m so sorry Felix, for everything.”
He moves towards me wrapping his arms around me tightly, and puts his chin on top of my head. “It’s not your fault Ace.” He says and kisses the top of my head.
