Prince Daniel had given me this dress. Gold and blue, very elegant. She scanned all the gifts that had come that day, and she was refused to go to her father, which made her worry more.
"Opil," she calls to her maid. Opil immediately came to her with a smile on her face.
"Yes, My Lady?" she asked, as if expecting her to be so happy with the gifts. Instead, what welcomes her is a very dark expression coming from the
"How did His Highness know that I was at the beach?" she asked. She starts and starts playing with Opil's hair, "I only told you... And yet the butler knew and even brought a series of chairs and benches," she said and smiled. Opil remained silent while shivering.
"I- I'm sorry my lady!" she said, and Loisa, inside Arcana now, was really mad.
*SLAP*
And she suddenly slapped Opil.
"I've already warned you, Opil," she said, and then shouted to the butler. "BUTLER!" and he immediately came forward at the sudden shout of his miss. And after he thought that she had changed, she turned on the old her.
You want the real Arcana? I will give you the real Arcana!
"Take her out and imprison her in the dungeon. Don't give her food or water for one day!" she said and her expression was so cold.
"My lady, My lady, please! No!" she said and pleaded.
"And get me a list of our servants. It seems that you guys have been lacking ever since I was sick," she said, and the butler had flicked. Knights also rushed in and dragged Opil out while crying.
I need to go out. I need information.
She gritted her teeth and started throwing the gifts out. She is like a mad woman right now, something she would not have been able to do in her past life. Suddenly, her heart felt hot and she passed out.
She closed her eyes only to see a large water flowing in front of her, inside it was the magical gem. She tried to reach out to it but she was not able to grab it. She ran... only to see it was handled by the real Arcana, and she had realized that she was in her old form as Loisa.
"Arcana..." we both said in unison. She giggled and covered her mouth. She remained silent. She did not know she would be able to meet her. That's why...
"Why are you crying?" Arcana asked in a soft voice.
If she were this soft, how could she be a villainess?
She asked inside her head. The real Arcana softly caressed her cheeks to wipe her tears.
"Loisa," she said, " you should not you wish to be me. You just have to be you..." she said and smiled at her. "I don't even know if that is the real me." she said and her expression turned sullen. She was sad... but she is not crying. She looked at me again.
"Just be you, Loisa..." and a bright light enveloped her body, and when she woke up it was already night.
"Just be myself, huh?" she grinned and thought of the old days in her life when she was used to parkour as her pastime. She is good at cooking, but that does not mean she can not do other things.
She stood there for a moment thinking about herself.
The magical sapphire gem... where did I see it?
She asks herself, referring to what she saw earlier.
I'm sure it was written in the book.
Arcana decided to dig in for more information. And the best time to do so... is right now.
The moon was a crescent, and it was silent. She took her robe and her custom-made pants so that she could easily move. And she was out.
Man, that is not easy! Arcana's room is on the third floor!
While talking to herself, she looked at the knights who heavily guarded the gates. She was new to her but she could tell that they had doubled and that they were planted by the crown prince. She bit her lower lips and thought of a way to pass through when a man suddenly appeared out of nowhere and covered her mouth.
"Shhhh..." it said when she broke up from him, and she looked up at him and saw white hair, as if she saw an angel. She gasped. He had very defined violet-colored eyes.
Is this man a God?
She asked herself and felt like she was about to pass out, but she recollected herself and pushed him, causing him to sit on the grass. He was wearing a mask. She thought he would get angry but he smiled instead.
"Come, I know of a way," he said, and Arcana was not sure if she should follow him or not. But her instincts told her so. She held his hand and grabbed it and they walked away. Silently, they trailed the grassy garden and crawl until they had reached a small garden, the boy dug a little and they immediately saw a dog hole.
"Uhhh..." says the boy, "I don't know if you are okay going here..."
"SURE!" Arcana immediately said and rushed into the hole. He was taken back by her action. Although she is not a noble lady, she is still raised like one. Moreover, she is a crown princess.
Time had passed by and they had reached the nice city lights. Contrary to her expectations, the night here is so alive and bright. The pubs were open and normal people were trading. Fishermen from far away are also preparing to go in the sea. It was a beautiful scenario.
"Wow!" she said, amazed by the grilled squid he had given her.
"You are the lady of this land, but it seems that you are not able to enjoy what this land has to offer," he said, and took a bite. Arcana did not know what to say. She just looked at him with a sullen expression before taking a deep breath.
"That's right," she said, looking forward, "BUT I will, from now on," and smiled at him before looking at the majestic view in front of her. He just smiled at her.
"Wait, we have been talking for an hour but I still don't know who you are," she said and pointed at his mask, "And you are wearing a mask." He smiled at her.
"I will tell you soon," he said and smiled at her.
"No, that's suspicious!" she says and gave him a little pat, "Thanks for helping me earlier. I'll be going then." she said and walked away.
"Wait, no--"
He was stopped when she put a dagger in his neck.
"I need to go alone. Don't follow me." with a strange smile on her face. She walked away before he could say anything. He won't even tell him his name, then she needs to cut ties with her. And the mere thought that he could walk freely inside her mansion was frustrating enough.
She entered one of the pubs wearing the wig of a black-haired man. She has bright aqua marine hair that stands out, and it is known that only descendants of the founder of the land, the Arkwright family, possessed that color. It would attract attention, and she does not like that.
It was the hidden compartment in the book. The one that sells magical stones.
"Hey, what is your order?" says the one at the counter. She had put a gold coin on the table.
And the hidden phrase is...
"Carpe Diem..." he flinched and scanned me for a moment, but after a few seconds he grinned and bowed down.
"This way, My Lord," he said, and acted as if he would be giving me more wine, but then led me inside. He moved one of the barrels and a door had opened, leading to the way underground. It was a dark trail with just a torch. She knew coming to this place was dangerous but she did not expect it to be that...
She closed her eyes and opened them, adjusting to the darkness. She followed the server earlier.
"I can accompany you here only. Good luck!" he said and left. Now, Arcana is alone. She cannot stop her heart from beating nonstop. She was nervous so she held her heart.
It was just a plain room. There is nothing particular inside. But there was a man.
"What brings you here?" he asked her and scanned her. "At this hour?"
"H- hello..." she did not know what to say and uttered a modern world greeting. She saw in that dark place his amethyst-colored eyes, like a beast waiting for her. She stand firm. She needed to access the mining site.
"I need permission to enter the Le Desma Mining Site," she said threw the bag on the ground.
"And why do you wish so, my lady?" he asked with a curious expression.
"I just need permission. I believe that is enough gold to access there," she said and closed her chest with her arms while looking at him.
"What if I don't let you?" he asked, "Besides, it was dangerous there because the rainy season is coming. I don't even know how you know the password and enter here. Who are you?" he asked and crossed his legs.
When someone taps his shoulder,
"I know her," he said and moved forward.
"M- My P---" and he immediately covered his mouth.
"We met again," and suddenly the room was lightened up. It was a very neat place underneath with plain a room, but it was nice to see.
"You again?" she gasped.
I am sure this place is hidden. And based on the book...
"You are the master of the dungeon," she said firmly, but since the information in the book is limited, she cannot pinpoint who he is. The one behind. It was just described as a powerful man in the dungeon.
I don't have time for this. I have to hurry.
"Since you knew me, give me the permission already," she said and was getting impatient.
"Haha! So impatient my lady! Why don't you have tea first?" he said and her face turned more grumpy.
"Tea? Why would I have tea with you? I don't even know you damn stalker!" she said and took the bag full of gold, "If you will not give me permission, then I am just wasting my time here." and was about to walk away, when suddenly the door where she had entered disappeared.
"What?" she asked.
"It seems that our lady is too impatient," he said and walked in front of Arcana, "What if we won't let you out of here?Aren't you too complacent?" he asked and smiled at her, which made her shake her little head.
"Don't touch me!" she said and he stopped midway. "If something were to happen to me, the whole mine would fall," she grinned and walked towards him and pointed at his chest. "I put something that would explode and block the place forever if I was not able to return by morning in my room." she shrugged her shoulder and grinned to him.
He looked at her with an amused expression and sighed.
"Well, there's nothing we can do then," he said, and grabbed her waist, and the scenery had changed.
"Wait, waaaah!" and suddenly they are in the sky. Behind their silhouette is the beautiful crescent moon. "Let me go, you bastard!!!!!"
