JACK POV The drive home that day did entirely nothing to clear my head. In fact, as the day wore on, things seemed to only get worse. My mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, each one more troubling than the last. I couldn't focus on my work, my appetite was nonexistent, and sleep was a distant memory. I felt so helpless. I've tried everything I can think of to find Aya, but nothing's working. I keep wondering why I didn't ponder her for more information, like her full name or where she lives. I did try to do that, but it was of no use. I wonder if she lives nearby. She could be from somewhere else, but it seems unlikely.
