I read through the magical realm tradition book, their birth, lifestyle, puberty, the mating, I was enjoying it until I reached a specific paragraph which had me frozen.
The marking.
If a magical {creature. werewolf, vampire or hybrid} is to find his or her mate, and they haven't been claimed in a month time, the mate is to be marked, especially if that mate was from a different realm, it is to insure that this creature is unharmed, untouched and un-killed as it will be considered as an outsider if he/she were from the human world, and outcast if the he/she were from a different kingdom.

Marking?
Outsider?
Outcast?
All these words kept playing my head over and over as I read through the paragraph, is that what he plans on doing? Claim or mark me as his own? As if I
