JACE  Point Of View :-

*Ping* Sky—

"In the middle of an essay writing ;-) stupid. And grandpa is gonna drop me to the school.

Bye nighty nighty J.

Have Nightmares"

After reading the message I flopped back on the bed and thought to myself. Did this women tricked me for real? She's so gonna regret it.

Me—

"You are going to pay for this SKYLAR"

I send the message and removed my leather jacket and t-shirt then the jeans.

Decreasing the air conditioner cooling level I pulled the comforter till my chest then switched off the lights and drifted to sleep.

I drove to Skylar's house and saw an old man and woman sitting on the porch talking. I ran my hand through my untidy hair. One last time checking myself on the mirror, I stepped out of the car and walked to them.

The woman looked at me with pure adoration and her husbands face had no emotion. Which gave me an impression that he is going to be a tough nut to c***k.

"Good morning Mr and Mrs Grace. I am Jace. Friend of Skylar."

I greeted. The elderly woman happily going to shake my hand when her husband beat her to it and tightly hold my hand.

"Morning. But you are here for?"

Those same green eyes was looking in my warm brown eyes. I put a smile on my face and said what I came here for.

"Skylar wanted me to meet you guys. She wanted me to drive her to the school everyday."

I wanted to laugh but somehow controlled. Skylar's gran gasp at my sudden exclamation but soon her shocked face turned into a full blown happiness.

"You think I..."

"Shutupp Frankie... Stop scaring the kid! You should be happy for Sky. Atleast she's making new friends here."

Granny pulled Mr Grace behind her small figure and scolded him muttering some gibberish.

She turned to me and hugged me. I wrapped my arms around her fragile frame. Scared not to break a bone while hugging.

"Come inside Jace"

She told me while glaring at Mr Grace. I followed her in to the kitchen and sit in the chair she pulled for me.

Mr Grace didn't leave a single opportunity to glare whenever Mrs Grace was not looking and pushed a cup of coffee towards me when she asked him to pass it to me.

"she never told us about you..."

Mr Grace said sipping from his cup of coffee.

"Ohh... Like I said before... She wanted me to meet you guys in person first!"

My voice came out high pitched slightly. Covering it with a fake cough I sipped my coffee.

Oh my god I didn't wanted this tom and jerry couple to fight again, My brain screamed. But right there my heart said 'as long the attention is not on you its fine'.

"FRANK. Can you please stop with the questions"

Mrs Grace once again scolded him. And this time he literally looked defeated which really making it hard to not laugh at the little scene.

"What the 'F' are..."

I abruptly stand on my feet and accidentally throwing the chair backward in the process.

"Hey Sky good morning"

I said before she could say something I will regret.

"Remember last night?

I said moving my phone in front of her face and giving her the clue. Her eyes widened and she immediately looked between her grandparents.

Now we are even Sky!

"Frankie... Nana..."

Skylar stammered and sit in the chair I was before.

"He's..."

"Jace.. honey we know. Why didn't you tell us he was coming?"

Nana stopped her before she could  introduced me and threw a smile on my way.

"It was late... I didn't wanted to interrupt your sleep"

She said. I pushed my cup of coffee towards her to drink. But Mr Grace snatched it and pour her another coffee.

She smiled to him while taking the cup and than narrowed her eyes on me. Suppressing my smile I sit beside her.

"Honey you don't need our permission to go with your friends to the school."

Sky almost spilled her coffee listening to Nana. Aww my poor baby doll what a moment of embarassment. I thought to myself.

"I know... I know.. you didn't wanted me to say it but I don't see any Problem in this"

I pour some more embarrassment in Sky's plate rile her up like she did with me yesterday night.

I chewed on my upper lip when she looked at me with a scowling face but I immediately released my lip when I saw Mr Grace looking at me with same expression. Okkk its time to pack up! I thought to myself and got up from beside doll.

"Lets go... We are getting late"

I slapped her shoulder and grabbed my phone. She told me to wait then left to bring her things I guess.

I was going to peck on Nana's cheek when Mr Grace pulled her but she pushed him away and hugged me. She  cupped my face and gave me a kiss on forehead. For which Mr Grace was not so happy. But this didn't stopped me from shaking his hands before leaving the house with Sky.

"You idiot... Who told you to do that?"

I felt a continuous patting on my arm and when I looked it was Sky punching me. I laughed at her then grabbed both her wrist.

"Now now now... Who wanted to play mind games last night?"

This make her squented  her eyes at me. She pulled her hair in a messy bun and pushed my face on the window. And let me tell you we are still outside her home but in her car.

"You think you can win against me Mathews?? You have other things coming keep it in mind!"

My face no my cheek was pressed against the window glass while Sky threatening me.

"Okay... You don't need to go all ballistic on me"

I squeeked out to cool her down and thank god she did. Taking a big sigh of relief, I glanced at her where she was sitting all huffy puffy.

"Girl... Do you know how agressive are you?"

To loosen the mood i cockily said. But her eyes again started narrowing down. Before she could start her karate again I decided to start the engine.

"Eyes on the road J"

Sky ordered me and pulled out a chapstick to apply on her lips. I couldn't stop myself from looking at her when she pressed both her lips together in then puckered the lips.

Shaking my face, I drove inside the school gate towards the parking and stopped. I picked my things and rolled out of the car but before I could close the door behind me Sky said something.

" Chivalry is dead"

"Yeah it died when you tried to strangled me"

I laughed and waited for to get out of my car. And when she did I locked it behind us.

Pulling her beside me I put my arm around her shoulder and we walked in the school. Later my friends joined also where I introduced them to Sky. I didn't knew she can get easily comfortable around them. All my groupie are bunch of assholes.

"I'll meet you in chemistry?"

I nodded and saw her walking towards her locker.

"She's cute! Ain't she?"

"Naah she's sexy"

Gabe slapped the back of Riley's head while talking about Skylar.

"But she's mine!"

I said getting everyone attention in the group.

"That means I can have Natalie?"

Seb asked ruffling his hair. He's a real Son of a b***h. I rolled my eyes before saying.

"She was never type"

I walked off from there to my maths class. Natalie and I were only friends with benefits.

When I walked in on my math class late like always, Mrs Benz glared at me but didn't said a word and watched me walking to my seat. The girls were swooning and some of them even dared to pass flirtatious smile or in other words looking more like a dying hyena.

Practicing some equations, Mrs Benz gave us series of other equation and told us to submit it in two days. The moment the bell rang I was out of the class towards chemistry.
