“What do you mean? There’s another one?!” Asked Rylan, he was the one who jumped from his seat, first. “Yes, I see another one in her future, not right now, of course, but in the near future.” Shakira then turns her attention towards me, “He holds one of the answers to one of your questions, he also provides the balance of your light and darkness.” “My light and darkness?” Shakira’s smiling at me. “Yes, I’m afraid, you need to deal with a difficult situation in your group, and also be aware of the dangerous mission that you are going to conduct,” her fingers pointing at Riftan and Rylan, “The two of them are here for reasons, the creators gave you three mates because you have a very important role for Humatora.” My hands were suddenly shaken, Shakira mentioning the creators made all of us in awe. We never talk about the Creators very lightly and in the spur of the moment. A taboo and her mentioning the Creators, makes us believe that my purpose is definitely more important than I believe in. Riftan took my hand and hold it tightly, I can feel the warmness of his hand, I smile and patted his hand. I glance at Rylan, he saw everything but pretended that he wasn’t. “Sabine, I do know, your reason for your visit, your father’s tomb, am I right?” “Yes, I need to know where can I find his tomb.” She closed her eyes for a moment, “I’m afraid I cannot help at that extend, you need to find his tomb on your own, But, I could provide you with a map, of all the high Vampyr tombs.” “Thank you so much, Shakira, that would be helpful.” Said Josiah to the Oracle. “I am so sorry, I couldn’t provide a definitive answered, but I do hope your journey will be less burden with a direction from me.” “We are already grateful for your help.” Said Riftan. “Then, you need to wait for two days for the yellow moon and sun, I need to draw a perfect map for you. I must warn you, there will be a trial in every high Vampyr tombs that you’re going to encounter.” “Two days? So the map will be a magical imbued map?” Asked Riftan to the Oracle. “You’re correct, I need to draw the map from the special ink and in the open environment, between the moonlight and sunlight.” Shakira called her two apprentices, and instructed them to prepare two rooms, “Our guests will be here for two days of the yellow sun and moon, prepare two rooms for them.” One of the apprentices took a glance at us. “Just, two rooms, master?” “Yes, the golden werewolf will be sleeping with her two mates, while Josiah will be sleeping alone.” Riftan immediately stands up from his seat. “Excuse me, but we have never agreed on accepting Rylan, why do you want us to share the room with him?” “Riftan! Get a hold of yourself! This decision wasn’t yours alone to make, you need to consider Sabine’s feelings as well!” Scolded Josiah to the upset Riftan. “Sabine, I have my reason to let Rylan goes to your room, the three of you need to talk about this, in private. I’ve arranged the pavilion, the room is the furthest from this complex.” I look at Shakira’s face, she does have some concern about the obsess Riftan and the quiet Rylan, I need to step up, need to take control. Letting out a sigh, I force a smile on my face. “Riftan, please, be reasonable, I do surprised about this. But, Rylan is innocent, for now, let us talk about it, in private.” I pleaded to my mate, Rylan and I just got entangled with a weird fate, where Riftan, of course already involved. We need to have a discussion, and as soon as we have the solution, it is going to be better for us. Riftan glared at Rylan, while the latter just calmly followed the apprentice to our room. “Really? You’re just going to join us?!” Rylan turn his face at Riftan, his expression said nothing about what is inside his mind, right now. “Look, I do believe we are indeed facing a hard situation, but letting out your anger to anyone isn’t going to solve it!” Gasped at Rylan’s remark, Riftan then followed him, reluctantly. Josiah whispered in my ears. “At least one of them is more mature than the other.” Sighing at Josiah, I said. “You got that right.” “Good luck, a young wolf, Riftan may be a bit immature at the time. But, he has a good heart, despite his Dark Nephilim nature.” Smiling at Josiah, I wave goodbye at him. His room is inside the main hut compound, while the pavilion is located a bit far from it. We take a walk in silence, the view on the path to the pavilion, however, is tremendously beautiful. I believe the forest is imbued with white magic. The path doesn’t have any oil lamp, instead, there’s a shiny bug, with every color imaginable. The tense atmosphere continued until we reach the pavilion, a hut with two separate rooms. “Good, we have two bedrooms, inside.” Mumbled Riftan. Hearing his sigh of relief, make me giggle a bit, glancing at Rylan, I could see a smirk downing his face. “I’ll take the smallest bedroom, you two should have the biggest.” Said Rylan, while inspecting the rooms. “As you should,” Riftan answered with a forced smile on his face. “Of course, I was being considerate, though, not always.” This time, it was Rylan, who talks back at Riftan. Both of them are talking back at each other, trying to outlast one another. I let out a long sigh, and stared at the two of them, one slightly possessive Dark Nephilim, while the other is the weird Weredragon. Looks like these two days will become a long day for us, three.
