It had been days since I woke up without my mark and honestly I missed it. Things felt a little more normal between me and Scorch now, but our 'normal' wasn't exactly normal.  We walked down an alley and saw a little boy crying, so ran to him. "What's wrong?" The boy looked up at me. "I-I-I'm lost." Phillips walked to us. "I know this place well, so we can help you find your way." He smiled kindly. The little boy nodded, and I picked him up.
