MAVERICK growled when he smelled Kayden’s scent and entered the basement. He looked at Kayden who approached the silver cage. “What are you doing here? Get out!”
Though Kayden was a little bit scared, he still smiled. “Your Highness, someone wants to see you.”
Maverick was stunned when he smelled something from Kayden. He looked at the handkerchief in Kayden’s hand. He smelled Amara's scent there and recognized it belonged to his mate.
Kayden gave the handkerchief to Prince Maverick. “Your Highness, Her Highness is here and wants to see you.”
Maverick was stunned. “She’s here?” He was surprised to know that his mate was here even though she knew that tonight, he was suffering from the inheat.
Kayden nodded his head. “Yes, Your Highness.”
