Jax pov
i was outside talking to Henry about the next training, I had a few others that wanted to become warriors and I needed time to find out who would be training them, I thought I heard my phone ring, so I hurried back up to the office and sure enough it was ringing, but then it stopped, I was about to turn and go back outside when it started back up once again, it must had been important since they were calling back, I hurried to answer it and I saw who was calling, ‘Oh s**t its her, is she hurt does she need me? I hurried to answer it, “Are you okay? I was coming to get you in a few days, I been trying to give you your space, nothing happened between me and that girl, I threw her out of the pack that same day, please let me come get you,” I heard nothing but breathing on the other line, and then I heard her voice,” Jax, listen to me closely, I know what I am now, Piper came to me and talked to me, i'm a little scared but mostly worried, I'm not sure if I want to come back just yet, just give me awhile, and let me think about it, I just wanted to hear your voice, and to let you know i’m ok,” After that, she hung up the phone, and I just took it from my ear and kept looking at it wondering what just happened, I knew where she was at, and I was going after her, I linked Henry, and he came running into the office, “What’s going on?” “It was her, she called me, her lycan came to her, I got a feeling she needs me, pack a bag we are leaving tonight,” Henry nodded and ran upstairs, when he got to his room his mate Madea was in there, she just walked in to the room to change for dinner, when he walked inside, he stood there looking at her, she was so beautiful, and he didnt care if she wasn't his true mate, it had been over fourteen years since they had imprinted on each other, he walked over to her, and looked deep into her eyes, “I Henry cloat accepts you Madea black as my mate for life,” she was shocked and looked at him with her mouth hanging open, she loved him and she wanted to do this for so long, her heart felt like it was beating right out of her chest, “I Madea Black accepts you Henry Cloat as my mate for life,” He grabbed her and held her close to his chest, I love you Madea, but right now its not the time to be mushy, we are going after Jennifer, she actually called him, he thinks that she needs him, and her lycan finally broke through, so anytime now she will be shifting, she nodded, “Do you need me to come as well?” “Yeah I think you should, maybe if you talk to her, she will be ok, she might need a woman figure by her side,” pack a bag, and let's get going,” together they packed each a bag and they walked out of the room down the stairs, Jax was already waiting, and he looked from Henry to Madea and nodded, “It's about damn time,” they both smirked and they all went outside to get in the jeep,
Jennifer pov
I knew right when I got off the phone, that Jax was going to come find me, something told me he was on his way now, I ran into my room packed three bags took the money I had saved up, I never put it back in the bank, I kept it in a large bag that way I could just leave and and not have to worry about taking it out of the bank, I was still living comfortable, and I liked it that way, I left him a note telling him that the money he gave me when I was just younger is in the bank, I wrote down the account number and the member number that way he can have it, i'm not ready to be with him, I have to have my independence first, I need to do that for myself, I heard Piper whimpering, “We need our mate Jennifer, why are you doing this?” Piper since I was sixteen, I been on my own, I dont need some macho man coming into my life telling me what to do and when to do it, I know where i'm going, i'm going back to Gatlinburg, we will be close by, just give me some time to figure things out, and what I want to do ok, if i'm going to shift soon I rather be in the woods and not in Detroit,” Piper agreed, and stopped whimpering, I got into my truck after I packed all my clothes and what I could fit in the bed of the truck, and the back seat, I left the couch and the bed, and what I couldn’t fit in the truck. I started the truck and took off, maybe we will pass each other and not know that we did, but we need to get going, I turned my gps to Gatlingburg and I took off, he might have like an hour ahead of me, so I need to get ahead of that hour, it was one in the morning, and I knew there would be no traffic out maybe a cop or two, but i'm willing to take that chance and haul ass, and that's what I did, I knew it would probably take me a few days to get back to Gatlinburg, so I filled the tank up and got drinks and food and i sped off once again, Hoping that if he felt me pass him, he wouldn't come after me, i need this space to i can get use to this voice in my head,, ‘I’m not just a voice Jennifer, I am your lycan, you will come to find out soon enough,
