The morning was calm when we set out on our adventure, and the air was heavy with the remaining cold of the morning. The beautiful pastel tones that had just started to slither out of sight beckoned the start of yet another day. Whatever the case, there was anything but peace in our minds. The immensity of what we were going to face hung over our little group, giving the impression that we were entering an outsider territory even though we hadn't ventured far from the pack territory.
