As I walked outside, the clear morning air made me uncomfortable even if I tried to ignore the feeling deep in my chest. Last night's note kept coming back to me over and over: "They're coming for you. Run while you still can." Having read those lines, I hadn't slept too often. Every ruffle of leaves outside my window and every creak of the pack house flooring had made me tense.
