I had a heavy feeling that I was swimming through a thick fog. My head pounded and my limbs moved slowly as I opened my eyes and blinked. The trees above me, the faraway sound of a creek bubbling, and the chilly ground beneath my feet were all foreign to me. Where was I? I tried to sit up, but my muscles were weak and rigid with fear. Then I recalled. I was talking to Liam while sitting by the fire and that’s the last thing I remembered.
