Woah, who knew my life would be much easier in California? I was studying at the University of California Riverside. It's a beautiful campus with a lot of students. You can't even find your way out. I made a whole bunch load of friends and met a lot of different people, and still, they treated me way differently than in Portland, Oregon, back home.
Thanks to my parents for paying the tuition early; otherwise, I would have never got in. Now, I am mainly focusing on studying and participating in clinical rotations where we can work with patients, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and gain experience in various medical specialties. And trust me, I have gained a lot, and I'm ready to return home.
