“What the hell is she doing here?"

"I was just leaving. I work here we had a meeting today."

"You aren't going anywhere Sarah we aren't done talking. Kendra I'll see you at home." He kissed her like I wasn't there. I was uncomfortable so I tried easing my way out.

"Don't you take another step Sarah."

“Why can't you come home now?"

I hate her and that stupid whiny voice. He wrapped his arm around her waist. I'm not going to lie, I was jealous and angry. I mean come on, after what we just did he has the nerve to act all lovey dovey like I’m nobody.

"I'll be home in an hour or two OK." She huffed.

"Fine I have an appointment at the spa anyway. I love you."

"I love you too." She left after glaring at me, if looks could kill.

“Whose baby is it Sarah?” I couldn’t tell him! What if he took the baby from me I can’t let that happen.

“It’s none of your concern.” He sighed.

“Sarah please tell me I just want to help.” Should I tell him, if he thinks that it's someone else’s child he will leave me alone.

“I have to go goodbye Adam.” I tried leaving but he pulled me into a hug.

“Just tell me, I promise I won’t get mad. If you don’t tell me I’ll be forced to get it out of Jeff or Jen so either way I’m going to know.” f*****g jerk.

“It’s your baby Adam, there are you happy?” He looked like a dear caught in the headlights.

“Are you mad?” Silence. I would rather have him yelling than sitting there quiet. I closed my eyes trying not to cry he can reject me but not my baby.

“I’ll just go, I won't bother you just leave me and my baby alone" Finally he spoke.

"I’m not mad just surprised and I can't do that, it's my baby too and you're coming to live with me at the pack house. I have to protect you and my baby." I became furious. Who does he think he is ordering me around.

"No I’m tired of people treating me like a piece of glass. I can take care of me and my baby." I was pissed, if thinks that I’m just going to sit around and watch my mate with another woman than he has another thing coming.

"Be reasonable Sarah, I don’t want to have to force you but I will. I’m an alpha, you're my mate so that means that the both of you are in danger."

"I’m not going, Jen and Jeff can look after me. Please don't make me. I can't watch you with another woman every day! I hate you and you can't make me go." I was crying like a child but I didn't care. He sighed.

"Let's compromise. How about you move into the packs guest house. That way you will be protected and close to me in case something happens." That was a good idea. I'll have my own house and won't have to see him or his annoying mate.

"Alright but you better keep that skanky crazy mate of yours away from me." He growled.

"Don't bad mouth my mate!"

"I’m your mate to or did you forget!" I said with tears in my eyes. He opened his mouth to say something but quickly closed it. I never thought I’d see the day when he didn’t have anything to say!

“Adam?”

“Yes?”

“Who tried to hack your system?” He smiled and sat down.

“Why are you smiling?” It dawned on me that something wasn’t right.

“Was there really a breach in the security system, you never told us what happened."

“No I made it up. I knew it was the only way to get you to see me.” He said while laughing.

“You’re a jerk you know that! Why would you do something like this?”

“You’re my mate. I missed you and I wanted to see you.” I have had enough of his face for one day.

“Goodbye Adam I have somewhere to be.”

“I’m coming with you we need to discuss the arrangement.”

“You aren’t coming Adam. I told you that I am meeting someone.” I said irritated. He just laughed and said “I know Jen and Jeff.”

How did he know that? As if reading my mind he said. “I mind linked Jeff, he told me that you three were going to lunch, now come you must be starving after your punishment.” He said with a smug look on his face.

“I hate you.” I said storming past him, I’m going to kill Jen and Jeff… It’s going to be a long lunch!

Kendra's POV

I wasn't going to the spa, I went to see my real mate telling him the change of plans. I had stuck around listening outside the door, the little w***e was carrying his child. I was mad at first but then I thought about it, this makes our plan way better.

"Hey baby I missed you."

"I missed you too."

"I have some information that helps with our plan."

"What is it?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"This kind of information deserves an award." I said while taking off his shirt. My mate was handsome and had the body of a god unlike Adam ugh!

"Tell me first then you get your reward."

"Alright." I said while pouting. He’s no fun always worrying about business.

"Adams mate is pregnant. When we take her we get the baby also. He'll have no choice but to give you the title and his pack."

"That's great news. It makes our plan way easier, everything is falling into place as for your reward....."

Unknown POV

Everything is falling into place, soon I will have a pack. I won’t have to share my mate and best of all I get my Sarah back she belongs to me.

After making love to my beautiful mate we parted ways. I hate the fact that she goes home to him every night and we have to sneak around but it's a small price to pay because the reward is worth it.
