“I met the three brothers when I was only 9.”
“My father is a close friend of the King Russel. And I used to come over to this house whenever he used to come over.”
“This was my favorite place to hang out with as I had no friends to call my own for being sick all the time.”
“And before we realized, I had forged a strong bond with them which turned out to be more than just friendship.”
“We all had come to like each other.”
“When my condition got worse, The King told me to stay here as they have the best doctors in town.”
“Then, I was given this room to stay.”
“I managed to shift when I was 18, but my wolf was draining out my strength.”
“During my 21st birthday, I found out that I was mated to the three brothers.”
“And I was escalated.”
“It was the best thing to ever happen to me.”
“But,” her face filled with sadness just like grey clouds during rain.
“My happiness didn’t last long.”
“One day, my stomach started hurting quite badly. The doctor came in at night and started treating with medicines.”
“After doing some tests we found out that my ovaries have become nonfunctional causing internal bleeding which they had to stop with surgery only.”
“And doing that I’ll become infertile, but they had no choice but to do it as it was the only way to save me.”
“I became bedridden after that, and that’s how everything has been until now.”
“We lost hope, that we can ever have children as I can’t carry their pups.”
“The king and the queen never mentioned anything about an heir all these years but one week ago they told Elliot about it that they should find another fertile mate.”
She raised her eyes, looking at me.
A sad smile formed on her lips.
“That was when Elliot talked about you last night.”
“I found out they were bringing you so you can act as a breeder for them.”
“Actually….if I admit.”
“I was pretty sad about it,” she said with a forced smile.
“But, after thinking over it I realized it was the best decision they could take.”
“And so, I agreed to it.”
She took me by the hand and stared into my eyes.
“I want you to carry their babies. I have no problem in raising them even if I don’t carry them nor give birth.”
“As long as they carry their blood, that’s all that matters.”
“And King and Queen will all be happy about it.”
“Will you be happy about it?” I asked in a straightforward tone.
Her face went blank, but the next second she gave a warm smile to me.
“As long as the three of them are happy, I don’t mind whatever I have to sacrifice for it.”
“Please do your job and make our dreams come true.”
“You are the only key to it.”
“I’m counting on you, okay?”.
I nod at her without thinking.
“As long as you have no problem with it.”
“I’m happy.”
“Thank you, Crystal. You are a good soul.”
She talked some more about herself and the three brothers. It was soon time for her medicine.
So, I walked out of her room.
I heaved a deep sigh in relief.
“Are you done asking what you wanted to?” a voice comments drawing my attention.
I look sideways to see Elliot standing with a frown on his face.
“Um…”.
“Lunch is ready. Come with me.” He said, walking past me.
I started following him.
Is this the right time to ask him about it?
Should I ask?
“What are you staring at? You have something to say?” he asked, glancing over his shoulder.
I became startled, stopping in my tracks.
“Uh…well…”.
“Go on, I’m listening,” he replied, facing me as we stood near the hallways by ourselves.
“Jennifer said she has no problem with anything.”
“So, I’ve decided to help you out as you have also helped us.”
“I’m ready to be a breeder for you all,” I said with a straightforward face.
And his eyes raised in surprise, but became narrowed the next second.
“I see…good to hear that.”
"Let’s let the others know the news as well.” He asserts, starting to walk again.
Going downstairs the table was arranged with different types of food, and the maids were bringing the plates.
Seeing this Elliot called one, “Nancy, call Ray and Zen please.”
“Lord Ray is out, and Zen is in the garden.”
“Oh, alright.”
“Call Mom and Dad then.”
He pulled out a chair for me and told me to sit down.
I took a seat and he took a seat right across me.
A few minutes later, I heard footsteps approaching us.
“I wanted to eat in my room. I couldn’t understand why you called us out,” a woman’s voice came from the other direction.
“I’m sorry, Lord Elliot told me to call you two.”
“Always forcing his decisions on us,” Added another voice.
I saw a man and woman walking towards us.
Are they his parents?
The woman took a seat far from him and just flopped down with an irritated expression.
The man sat next to him.
His mom’s beautiful and his dad hardly looks old. What is up with his family?
“Mom-“ Elliot was about to speak but his mom rolled his eyes at him.
He heaved a sigh and looked at the man.
“Dad, I have something to inform you about.” He stated drawing his dad’s attention.
“That’s why I called you two out.”
His dad gave a glance at him, and replied, “Do you need to inform anything to us before doing anything?”.
“You always do as you please.”
“Yet, we are obliged to listen to you.”
“Go on.”
“Say what you have to.”
“It’s not about Jennifer, I hope?” His mom asserts in a mocking tone.
“I’m not listening to anything that you say in her favor just because she’s sick.”
“It’s not about Jennifer. But, why are you talking so negatively about her?” Elliot asserts.
“Come on, son! You know why your mom is talking like that.” His dad replied.
“Don’t blame her in any way.”
“Even so, you are-“.
“Sorry for interrupting. But why are you all arguing?” I asked drawing everyone’s attention to me.
His mom and dad gawked at me and became surprised.
“Who are you?” his dad asked.
“She’s sitting with us,” his mom added, watching me up and down.
“She’s Crystal from the Red-moon pack.” Elliot addressed.
“Her pack was in the middle of a war, and needed money that’s why I paid money in exchange for her to come here.”
“For what?” His mom asked, looking all puzzled.
“To act as a breeder. She’ll be carrying our children.” Elliot replied, glancing at me.
“Instead of Jennifer.”
His mom gasped.
“I still can’t believe what I’m seeing or hearing!” his dad looked at Elliot and rubbed his eyes in disbelief.
“The Elliot who doesn’t even look at a woman other than Jennifer, brought home another woman to have his children?”.
“Is this true?” his mom asked, standing up.
“Stop acting as if this is the end of the world,” Elliot grunted.
“There is no other way to fix things other than this. So, what can we do here?”.
His mom rushed over to my side, and placed her hand on my face, observing it closely.
“What a beautiful girl we got here.”
“What did you say your name was again?”.
“C-crystal Romanova.”
“Crystal, glad to have you on board,” she added with a smile. Her smile was so heartwarming that it could soothe your soul.
“How old are you by the way?” his dad asked.
“Uh…I’m 19.”
His mom patted my head.
“Finally he listened to us. I’m very happy.” She added, sitting down next to me.
“Eat up well. Honey, would you like a dessert to celebrate the occasion?”.
“Yeah, sure.” His dad smiled back.
“There’s no better occasion than this.”
