"I'm no child, your highness!" Kaida huffed at the prince that was towering over her in his bed chambers.  He was angry at her for wanting to stay for the council meeting against his judgement. His muscled chest was heaving, jaw tightly clenched and eyes burning holes right through her, but she refused to cower. She stared right back at him with equal intensity. Prince or not, there was no way she was going to allow herself to be pushed around like this.
