Uther's heart fluttered at the sight of his maiden. He was clearly smitten as he couldn't even bring himself to look away from her and for the first time he didn't care that his heart was actually beating. Beating for her in ways that left him wanting to give her everything she wanted and needed.
Kaida's eyes were still glued on his mother's portrait and he had a perfect view of her as she admired the woman that birthed him and sacrificed everything for him.
